The book is composed of selected “behavioral game” experiments which have been widely employed to assess human behavior. These experiments have been conducted in different countries to test whether humans behave according to the theory, and whether those behaviors vary across cultures. However, previous studies have relied mostly on subjects from developed countries, particularly the United States and those in Europe. A few notable exceptions were experiments conducted in China and Russia. What have been missing are experiments on Thai subjects; and that is the motivation behind this book. The specific experiments presented in the book were carried out in Thailand, and the results were compared to existing findings. A background in introductory microeconomics is not required, although it may provide the readers with a quicker understanding of the materials.
