Creative District: Gaining a competitive edge through urban development In recent years, leaders around the globe have sought to harness the imaginative power and ingenuity embodied in communities to promote an innovative new approach to urban renewal. From these efforts spring Creative Districts, where people living and working in close proximity build contribute to a vibrant communities driven first and foremost by ideas. This issue of TCDC Outlook presents success stories in Creative District development from around the world. It also considers ways to establish a thriving and sustainable Creative District in TCDC's new home community in Bangkok's Charoenkrung District.
